Products & Customization
Yes! Align3D backrests, cushions, and hardware can all be ordered on their own or together as a complete system. Each product is designed to function on its own while remaining compatible with other Align3D components when ordered as part of a full system.
At Align3D, "custom" means that each backrest and cushion is designed specifically for the individual user based on clinical input, patient measurements or digital shape data, and intended use. Rather than modifying a standard shape, each product is digitally designed and manufactured to match the individual's anatomy and support goals.
We like to say that it's seating that aligns with every body.
Yes. Align3D backrests and cushions are designed within defined size and weight parameters to ensure proper performance and safety. Specific limits may vary by product and configuration and should be reviewed during the ordering process.

Yes, bundled pricing includes many commonly selected upgrades within the primary product price. Additional options may still be available beyond these commonly selected upgrades - it all depends on what you're looking for. Anything marked "Bundled" on the bundled order forms is included in that primary product price!
Yes, our hardware can be ordered independently through the Hardware Only order form.
Manufacturing & Lead Times
We aim for a 10 business day turnaround once all required information, measurements or scan files, and approvals are complete. Lead times may vary if additional information or clarification is needed.
Production begins once a complete order is received and confirmed, including all required order forms, measurements or scan files, and any necessary approvals.
Align3D products are digitally designed and manufactured using patient-specific data, advanced fabrication methods, and in-house assembly. Each backrest and cushion is produced to match the individual configuration, then finished and inspected prior to shipment.
Fun Fact: The "3D" in our name actually comes from our additive manufacturing methods (3D printing). We fully believe that 3D printing is a huge asset to custom manufacturing. Moreover, it allows us to prototype and design new features, hardware, and products faster than ever!
Remakes, Adjustments & Warranties
Remakes or adjustments may be considered when a product does not match the approved order configuration or when fit or function concerns are identified within the applicable review period. Requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis to ensure alignment with the original intent and order details.

Align3D products are covered under warranty for a defined coverage period. Full terms, including duration and eligibility, are detailed in our Warranty documentation.
Working with Align3D (Dealers & Partners)
Align3D partners with qualified mobility dealers and service providers who are equipped to support custom seating at a high clinical and service level. Partner applications are reviewed to ensure alignment in business, service capabilities, staffing, clinical approach and overall fit with our model of care. This helps us ensure every end user receives the level of support and follow-through that custom seating requires. To get started, complete our Supplier Application.

No formal certification or mandatory training program is required to begin working with Align3D products. Our systems are designed to make custom seating more intuitive and accessible within standard clinical and service workflows.
That said, we're always available to provide product guidance, onboarding support, and educational resources whenever a partner would benefit from additional familiarity. We believe custom seating should be easier to implement - not harder - while still maintaining clinical precision and quality outcomes.
